Dear Friends,

Culture is hard to see, because we're in it. We absorb it from our families, our friends, our schools, our workplaces and the media. It's all we know. We assume it has to be this way.

Still, we sense something isn't right. We want genuine connection, yet we contort ourselves to fit in. We want to express our gifts, yet we spend our days making money. We want real community, where we're surrounded by folks we care about, yet we're isolated. We want to commune with a higher power, yet we binge-watch Netflix.

Can we imagine an entirely new culture? A culture that honors the sacred. A culture that values connection over money and power. A culture imbued with love—not a naive love that pretends everything's great when it's not, but a mature love that acknowledges and integrates everyone's fears and traumas in a genuine, worldwide embrace.

If a sick person can concentrate on healing, a sick culture can too. We can normalize empathy, emotional intelligence and trauma education. We can make sacred spaces to connect with each other, the Earth and the cosmos. And we can spread the word until healing—deep healing, collective healing, intergenerational healing—is seen as normal. Obvious. The way to be.

Culture of Healing exemplifies, amplifies and calls forth this culture through events, media and art. Our organizational vision is a hybrid creative-agency-and-movement-builder that finances, supports and distributes the work of aligned artists and creators of all stripes. We plant, nurture and spread the seeds of the new culture.

We’re starting where we are, with the projects we have and the people we know. We're making meaningful, beautiful things that are oriented around healing and putting them out there. And we're trusting that a greater intelligence is assembling the pieces.

Sincerely,

Maybe you are one of those pieces.
